Letlhogonolo is More than Numbers

Two bites of fantastic news this month! First, we are seeing web Student registrations return to normal levels. Seekers are seeing ads as they search for a Bible study and WBS is there to offer a loving Christian friend to share Jesus. Second, WBS Lite broke an all-time high record of registrations. October 2022 had 10,485 registrations, and September 2023 had 10,490 registrations. Just barely over the line, but it is significant because of the relationship connections made around a study of God’s word.

The registration activity has a trickle-down effect. Over 12,000 adoptions were made this past month, leading to 17,000 quizzes submitted by Students. Every one of those actions is a Christian fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus. Each action leads another lost soul closer to their loving Savior. Keep up this good work. Keep adopting more Students, and one day, Lord willing, as He causes the growth, we’ll have regular numbers of over 100 baptisms per month.

In September 2023, we saw the following activity:

Online Registrations

  • Web Students: 3,862
  • Postal Students: 483
  • WBS Lite: 10,490

Online Activity

  • 16,867 quizzes graded by Study Helpers
  • 17,023 quizzes submitted by Students
  • 12,018 adoptions were made

Online Follow-up Activity

  • 45 baptisms completed
  • 24 baptism requests are in progress
  • 19 in-person Bible studies started
  • 15 people connected to a local congregation

Letlhogonolo is More Than a Number

We rejoice in the recent baptism of Letlhogonolo. Our new brother in Christ was submitted by his Study Helper for Baptism follow-up in 2016. For some reason or another, Follow-up could not be completed. Upon reviewing Follow-up records, WBS reached out to Letlhogonolo, and he said he wanted to be baptized into Christ. A worker from Gospel Chariot Missions met him on September 15, 2023 and he was baptized into Christ. Praise the Lord for providing the means to keep in touch and allowing Letlhogonolo (picture right) the opportunity to obey the Gospel of Christ.

If you would like to send us stories of your Students, please email us pictures and information to help@worldbibleschool.net. Ask your Student for permission to share their story with others.
