Our Urgent Need

Last year, over 61,000 people requested to start a World Bible School study using Ocean Bridge.

Ocean Bridge allows us to teach international Students without the need for postal systems.

Bypassing postal systems allows us to increase the volume, speed and retention rate of our international WBS Students in various targeted regions.

How it Works

Receive, grade and upload Student answer sheets to and from Ocean Bridge and our WBS Service Centers will promptly deliver the answer sheets and next course back to your Students.

WBS Service Centers Deliver Courses

WBS has established Service Centers in key countries to recruit Students within their region. In many regions, WBS has partnered with several schools and prisons who are interested in studying our courses.

Students Study Courses

Students receive their courses from the Service Center. When a Student has completed a course, volunteers from the Service Center retrieve the Students' answer sheets and digitally scan it into the Ocean Bridge portal.

Congregations Grade Courses

Congregations will log into the Ocean Bridge portal to access their Students' answer sheets. They can then download, print, grade and scan their Students' answer sheets back into the Ocean Bridge portal.

Students Receive Graded Courses

Once congregations upload their graded answer sheets back into the Ocean Bridge portal, our Service Centers will print out and deliver the answer sheet and the next course to the proper Students.

What do you need to get started?

Internet

High-speed connection is required to send and receive scanned Student answer sheets.

Printer & Scanner

A duplex printer and two-sided scanner is needed to print, grade and scan answer sheets.

Cost for Ocean Bridge

Ocean Bridge’s pricing model replaces previous the expenses for courses, certificates and postage with a simple cost per scanned answer sheet.

This covers WBS cost to:

  • Print the Master Series in country
  • Maintain WBS international Service Centers
  • Process and deliver Students’ courses and answer sheets
  • Recruit new Students
  • Follow up for baptism requests and Bible studies
  • Develop technology to increase scanning capacity
  • Invest in additional locations to establish Ocean Bridge

WBS Follow-up Program

Every year, WBS Study Helpers refer thousands of seekers to brethren for Follow-up. These seekers have been introduced to the Gospel message through one of our WBS Bible studies. They are eager to meet a Christian face-to-face for more Bible learning, to worship with believers or to obey the Gospel in baptism.

To become a Study Helpers you must:
  1. Apply and be approved by WBS.
  2. Receive your confirmation email from WBS.
  3. Log into worldbibleschool.org or the WBS App using the login credentials provided in the confirmation email.

If you have already been approved as a Study Helper you can log into the website or the app using your login credentials. Students can register directly on worldbibleschool.org, the WBS App or WBS Lite.
