God Has Bigger Plans

Remember our 10,000,000 for Christ campaign that we kicked off in early 2022? Well, apparently we misnamed it!

At the beginning of 2022, we believed we were being faithful in envisioning an audacious goal for the next two years. “Imagine… sowing the seed of the Gospel with 10,000,000 souls.” We prayed then and have continually since then for God to bless these efforts. Little did we know, God had even bigger plans.

And has God ever blessed us! As of September 30, 2023, you have helped offer 11,825,032 souls the chance to study the Bible with WBS tools. With less than three months to go in 2023, we anticipate reaching closer to 14,000,000 souls by the end of the year.

Why does this number matter? Because the more seeds sown, the more fruit God can produce within the hearts of seekers. Because of your hard work and generosity, 1,385,349 souls have accepted the offer to study our Printed Lessons, 244,104 souls have registered to study WBS Online Lessons, 100,569 souls have received a WBS Study Bible and 687,522 souls have watched one of our Mathetis Bible study videos. That is a total of 2,417,544—one out of five of those touched—who chose to start a Bible study with WBS. We can only humbly offer thanks and praise to our God for His blessings. I’ll make four more brief points.

One. The 10,000,000 for Christ campaign and the mission of WBS is not about big numbers. That said, however, we—like you want to see as many souls saved and heaven-bound as we possibly can.

Two. Those souls are real people, with real spiritual needs. And very many of them will become Christians as a result of WBS tools, partnerships, and efforts like 10,000,000 for Christ. We’ve shared with you stories of people like Leslie, Eliene, Francina, Jing, Javed, Debra, and so many others—and we’ll continue to do so.

Three. Thankfully, God has blessed us with highly effective tools and relationships that have a profound, far-reaching impact in reaching the lost with Jesus.

Four. All of the above requires funding. PLEASE give now, before the busy-ness and distractions of the late-year holidays. Please give generously so that we can: a) fill the needs of those to whom God has led us and b) continue to fulfill the Great Commission on a worldwide scale.

One final note: We’re very excited to announce that we will soon be printing a new version of the WBS Study Bible. The New American Standard Version (1995) will be an accurate, trustworthy translation coupled with WBS’s proven, Bible-based study helps. Also, compared to the WBS New King James Study Bible, it will be 12% larger (more readable!) and available at alower price.
