A 50 Forward Look Back

A Street Car Named …?

WBS has never been shy about trying new and innovative approaches to sharing Jesus! From the July 1988 ACTION issue, Robert Marshall, of the West Coast Center of WBS in California reported that the painting of a street car in Hong Kong for WBS Student recruitment was completed.

Missionary Jack McGhee, who came up with the idea, was excited to see Students writing in and requesting studies. This street car circulated a major route through Hong Kong for six months.

We are forever grateful to the WBS West Coast team and board who served so many years with incredible effectiveness – people like Patsie & Doug Trowbridge, Jake and Wilma Coppinger and Joel & Pat Coppinger, Howard & Margaret Cox, giants of the faith every one!
