Joseph is More Than a Number

Joseph Is More Than a Number

Brother JL Steele, the pulpit minister of the South Knoxville church of Christ, adopted Joseph Maigo from Kenya as a World Bible School Student in May. Through his study of the gospel, Joseph saw his need to be baptized.

He was submitted for Follow-up and shared the good news of his baptism with his Study Helper JL Steele in an email on July 27, where he said “I am writing to share the joyful and life-changing news that I was baptized into Christ on 26th July 2025 by Minister Edwin Mijude of the Huma Lakeview Church of Christ. This moment marked the fulfillment of my deep desire to obey the gospel, and I want to sincerely thank you for your unwavering support, teachings, and prayers throughout my study. Your efforts have borne fruit, and I give glory to God for you.”

Brother Edwin is a vigorous worker for the Lord and has accomplished much since his conversion in 2006, also through study of World Bible School courses!

We rejoice in the salvation of Joseph Maigo and ask that you pray for him as he grows in his relationship with God. And offer up a prayer of thanksgiving for Edwin Mijude and World Bible School’s continuous efforts to reach the lost!

God is good!
