Arise, click and SOW! It’s a great start to the year! We had over 21,700 Students in January who registered on the WBS Online platform. Students are registering in record numbers, and this is possible because God has blessed us with online tools to reach more seekers in many new ways. What does this mean for you? It’s time to arise, click and SOW! Yes, we have record registrations, but that also means our Student Board is creeping higher. As of February 14, 2024, more than 2,000 Students are on the board. I encourage you to rise, lift your phone, open your computer, open your WBS app, get your coffee, and sign in today. Next, keep clicking. Click to adopt, click to introduce yourself, and click to provide feedback. The click of your mouse and trackpad is powerful enough to sow the seed of God’s Word and water the ground in the heart of a Student.

Now, arise, click, SOW, and gather members in your congregation to join you in Sharing Jesus with World Bible School.

In January 2024, we saw the following activity:

  • Web Students: 7,337
  • Postal Students: 497

Yohane is More Than a Number

Yohane1-216x300.jpg

Yohane is a great example of a seed growing into a sower. He lives in Malawi and registered for WBS Online in July 2022 and completed the Master Series by the end of March 2023. Since then, he has completed all five of the supplemental courses as well. Having previously been sprinkled with water, Yohane learned of his need to be baptized by immersion for the forgiveness of his sins. His Study Helper, submitted him for Follow-up. One of our Follow-up Partners reached out to Yohane and arranged to meet with him. Yohane was baptized into Christ and connected with a local congregation in January of 2024.

Yohane’s Follow-up Partner wrote this, “He has passion to serve God.” After his baptism, Yohane wrote to WBS saying, “Looking forward to working with you in spreading the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ and His Church.” And that is just what he has done. He is now an online Study Helper working to sow seeds in the Kingdom!

If you would like to send us stories of your Students, please email us pictures and information to help@worldbibleschool.net. Please ask your Student for permission before sharing their story.

In this episode, Brian, Noah, and Bryson explore how God teaches through direct commands and direct teachings, showing that Bible study doesn’t have to be complicated when approached with common sense and a high view of Scripture. Using examples from the New Testament, Brian explains how clear commands, encouraging exhortations, and even questions can reveal God’s authority and help believers grow in faith, maturity, and obedience. The conversation ties Bible study to restoration and emphasizes that following Christ is not a burden, but a path to transformation and mission.
