January 2026 – Coordinators Corner

A Word from the Word

In Mark 10 and Luke 18 the Bible speaks of children being brought to Jesus for him to bless them. The disciples stand in the way of this action and rebuke the people bringing the children. Do we sometimes think someone is not worthy of being in “the church? Do we sometimes think they do not want to hear about scripture because they have all they need? Is there some other reason that might stop us from sharing the gospel?

I know from personal experience that sometimes my thoughts go this way, and I miss an opportunity to share the gospel of the Kingdom. What child does not want to be around his father? Do we miss an opportunity to spread the gospel because of the way we view someone or their actions?

We are all God’s children, and we all want to be blessed by Him. Let’s take every opportunity to share the gospel with those around us, like so many of you are doing. Let’s encourage those who are around us to be like the parents in the passages cited above, bringing others to Jesus to be blessed. Let’s go look for the ones around the world, at gas stations and in grocery stores. Let’s not miss the opportunity to tell someone who God is and how much He loves them!

Tips, Tricks, and Hacks

As you know, lessons waiting to be graded are stored on the WBS Sharepoint site. We need your help keeping these files organized. So, once you have printed the lessons to be graded, please move that folder by clicking on it and dragging it into the Archives of Print and Grade folder (see photos).

You can also move the folder by clicking on the three dots to the right of the name, selecting ‘Move to’, and then selecting the ‘Archives of Print and Grade’ folder. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to one of us here at World Bible School. We would gladly serve you.

Upcoming Events

Next month I will post a schedule of lectureships and local churches where WBS will visit this year. If you’ll be near one of these locations on that date, come by and say ‘Hi!’ If you would like a WBS representative to come to your congregation to share our mission and resources for sharing the gospel with others, please call 1-800-311-2006 and ask for Josh, James, or Anthony. We would be happy to schedule a visit!
