A CALL TO ACTION: BE PART OF THE 2026 Match & Challenge

BY GEORGE A. BARLOW, JR. | WBS CHIEF ADVANCEMENT & CHURCH RELATIONS OFFICER

In recent years, many dedicated Christians, churches, and families focused on mission work have generously supported World Bible School in sharing Jesus globally. Their giving has helped provide Bible studies, digital resources, Study Bibles, training materials, and outreach opportunities that are changing lives around the world.

As we look ahead, we are launching a new Match & Challenge to inspire Christians everywhere to come together for this important mission. Every donation, no matter how big or small, contributes to a larger effort to make the Gospel available to those seeking the truth.

The apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 3:20: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”

At World Bible School, we know that God is opening amazing doors worldwide. Thanks to our loyal partners and modern teaching tools, the Gospel is reaching places and people we once thought were unreachable.

A Vision for the Future

Our Five-Year Strategic Plan aims to share Jesus with everyone by encouraging and equipping Christians to use our modern interactive Bible study tools for reaching the lost, establishing the church, and nurturing disciples.

By 2030, we are prayerfully working towards:

1. Millions of Bible studies conducted yearly across all WBS platforms

2. Increased involvement from congregations and Study Helpers

3. Better follow up systems to connect truth seekers with local Christians and churches

This mission is not just about growing numbers, it’s about bringing people into a relationship with Christ.

Ocean Bridge: Reaching New Nations

As International postal systems have changed or disappeared, WBS has adapted with innovative technologies like Ocean Bridge.

Ocean Bridge helps deliver Bible studies to various countries by digitally linking Students and Study Helpers. Answer sheets are scanned and digitally transmitted, significantly reducing turnaround time between Student and Study Helper, increasing retention of both.

Thousands are studying God’s Word and congregations are being established because Christians, like you, choose to support this work.

The Need Before Us

The opportunities available to us are greater than ever. New doors are opening in schools, prisons, congregations, communities, and digital platforms worldwide.

To meet these increasing needs, WBS is looking for:

  • More participating congregations
  • More Study Helpers
  • Expanded translation efforts
  • Additional digital development, allowing us to handle greater volumes of students
  • Increased Bible distribution

Every contribution helps advance this mission.

The 2026 Match & Challenge

This year’s Match & Challenge invites Christians everywhere to be part of something bigger than themselves.

A few generous families have given or pledged a total of $940,000 to encourage us in our giving. This is a chance to boost outreach, strengthen disciple making efforts, and expand the Gospel’s reach around the world.

Whether your gift is large or small, your support is important.

Generous friends of WBS are willing to multiply your gift.

Your contributions help:

  • Provide Bible studies to those seeking truth
  • Equip congregations for evangelism
  • Expand outreach into new countries
  • Create interactive Bible teaching tools
  • Strengthen Follow up efforts
  • Place God’s Word in the hands of our graduating Students

Together, we can achieve more than we can imagine.

Will you join us?
