GRACE IS MORE THAN A NUMBER

WBS App Student, Grace, through her answers to the questions in the WBS lessons, indicated her desire to be baptized. Grace’s Study Helper Sharon lives in the same state as Grace and was able to connect her with a congregation and one of the elders there that Sharon knows. The elder, Lewis’ wife, Rayma got in touch with Grace on February 5, 2026.

She was baptized that same day at the local congregation by Lewis in Tampa, Florida. Please pray for Grace that she would continue her connection with this congregation and would form more relationships with Christians there. Pray for her growth in knowledge and continued obedience to God’s Word. 

JOSEPH IS MORE THAN A NUMBER

WBS Lite App Student, Joseph is studying with Study Helper, Jerry. Joseph had a lot of questions for Jerry and Jerry lovingly answered him always pointing back to Scripture. Joseph requested baptism and Jerry submitted him for Follow-up.  

Follow-up Partner, Stephen was able to meet with Joseph and they studied together and then Joseph was baptized into Christ on January 24, 2026 in Kenya. Please be in prayer for Joseph as he is seeking connections with Christians close to him. 

LEAREIL IS MORE THAN A NUMBER

WBS App Student, Leareil, completed the WBS course, “Born of Water and Spirit” and asked his Study Helper, Glenn, for help getting baptized. Glen submitted Leareil for baptism. Leareil had previously been baptized at the age of three.

WBS Follow-up Partner, Gasela, got Leareil connected with a congregation near him. Leareil attended worship with them on February 8, 2026 and was baptized the same day in Johannesburg, South Africa! Please pray for Leareil to grow in his faith. 

CONFIDENCE IS MORE THAN A NUMBER

After studying some of the WBS lessons on the WBS Lite App, Confidence asked his Study Helper about baptism. Confidence asked some great questions and his Study Helper, Jacob, submitted him for Follow-up. Follow-up Partner, Kennedy, contacted Confidence and set up a meeting.

Kennedy and Confidence met and studied the Bible. Then Kennedy baptized confidence on February 19, 2026 in Ndola, Zambia. It was raining but Confidence did not want to wait. Please keep Confidence in your prayers as he is relocating for school. 

DAVE IS MORE THAN A NUMBER

WBS App Student, Dave, completed the “Born of Water and Spirit” course and having been baptized as a baby previously, said, “I am ready for baptism because my church didn’t teach this deeply as I have learned here. I am ready to divert and get baptism and walk a holy life with God. I have realized my ways must be renewed with God and the rebirth. I need baptism which is immersion.” Dave’s Study Helper, Michelle, submitted him for Follow-up on February 5, 2026. Follow-up Partner, Edwin, travelled 72 miles to baptize Dave on February 14, 2026 in Homa Bay County, Kenya. Dave has been traveling a long distance to a congregation since he has been baptized and he would like to start a congregation in his area in the near future. Please pray for perseverance for Dave as he travels each week to meet with other Christians.

LIDIA IS MORE THAN A NUMBER

WBS App Student, Lidia, after studying some of the WBS courses, wrote to her Study Helper, Robert and said, “I was baptized when I was an infant, so I was unaware of what was happening.” The more she took in from the studies, the more she realized how important it was to have her sins fully washed away. She let him know that she would like to be baptized as an adult by her choice. Robert submitted Lidia for Follow-up. Follow-up Partner, John, connected with Lidia and studied with her over the phone. He was able to connect her with a local congregation in Buffalo, New York.

The first time she visited, she filled out a visitor card and checked a box that she was interested in having a one-on-one Bible study. Then, a couple of weeks later, on February 22, 2026, during worship service, she was baptized for the forgiveness of her sins! Praise God! Please be in prayer for Lidia as she begins her new life in Christ. 

LEANDRI IS MORE THAN A NUMBER

WBS Student, Leandri, registered for Online Lessons in November 2025. Leandri had not been baptized and let her Study Helper, Brooke, know her desire to do so. Brooke submitted Leandri for Follow-up.

Follow-up Partner, Machona, contacted Leandri and arranged to make the two-hour drive to visit Leadri in Lichtenburg, South Africa. Leandri was so excited and eager to be baptized. On February 26, 2026, Machona baptized Leandri for the remission of her sins! Please be in prayer for Leandri as there is not a group of Christians meeting in her area.
