Pray for Open Hearts in India

This young man, Mahesh, recently completed the WBS Master Series. Brian had the pleasure of handing him his certificate of completion along with some gifts – a pen and a Bible provided by the local congregation nearest him. Though seriously considering surrendering his life to Jesus, this young man is still struggling to come to a place of faith so that he can obey the Gospel, being baptized into Christ. This decision for one growing up in a Hindu society is difficult.

The shop pictured to the right is indicative of the challenge. Jesus, fully recognized as a deity in India, is placed alongside all of the myriads of other gods in the Hindu pantheon. In fact, this young man as he has been wrestling with eternal concepts became so discouraged, he initially turned to atheism. Finding only hopelessness there, he has turned to the Bible and Jesus Christ for answers.

Please join us in lifting up this young Student in prayer, as we do for so many of our Students, and pray God will bless him with the teachers and mentors who will ultimately help him cross the threshold of obedient faith!
