What We Do Together

Recently, WBS Support received a call from one of our dear Study Helpers, Barbara Cloninger. She was asking how to help her WBS Lite App Student retrieve her course certificates. We were able to find a solution for her Student, then I told Barbara, “Thank you for being a Study Helper for WBS, we appreciate all that you do.”

She replied, “I enjoy being a Study Helper so very much!”

I asked her, “Why?” and she said, “I am 87 years old and cannot get around like I used to. My recliner is my seat for much of the day. Being a Study Helper allows me to correspond with people from all over the world who want to learn about Jesus and often become baptized. I like that many of my Students stick with me until they finish their courses. I can continue to encourage and correspond with them. It is very rewarding, because you are helping others know about God.”

I also asked Barbara, “What advice would your give to other Study Helpers?”

She quickly replied, “If some of the Students you adopt drop off, for whatever reason, just keep adopting more. You must stick with it and eventually you’ll get those who want to learn about God.”

I told her its like casting your net wide, like Peter did, to catch fish. Except Jesus invites us to catch souls searching for the truth. She replied, “Yes, that is what we do together!”

Side note: Some of our international WBS Lite App Students are struggling to download their course certificates. Some Students are facing limitations on their mobile devices; others have difficulty accessing stable internet. Our team is currently researching new ways to help Students gain access to their certificates.

If your Student is having trouble, we are here to help at help@worldbibleschool.net or call 512-345-8190. God Bless!
