WBS: Telling the Old, Old Story
Stories from WBS Follow Up Workers
Seeking a WBS Badge
by Isaac Daye, The Gambia

"For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds;
and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:8

One of the most exciting stories I know about WBS is my own conversion in 1978. Hoping to receive a WBS badge, I accpeted an invitation to attend a meeting of WBS followup workers. I wound up accepting Christ as My Lord upon being taught on the 28th November 1978 that Christ is my savior, I went in search of a badge but found Christ.

Since then I have grown to become a preacher and a zealous WBS worker and by God's grace. Today I serve as WBS-Sub Regional Coordinator in Sierra Leone, The Gambia and Liberia, where we have offices and many followup workers laboring for the Master, using WBS to reach the lost.

Our WBS enrollment record in the Gambia exceeds 500 and over 9,000 in Sierra Leone and 3,000 in Liberia.

In Sierra Leone we have Brother Jacob Sesay and Jonathen Thomas as volunteers workers and In Liberia Brother Gabriel Chea and and Paul Guah are in charge and in the Gambia I have Brother Godson,Ofori and Mendy working with me.

I make a quarterly mission trip to Sierra Leone to do followup work and annual trip to Linberia to join in a mass gospel meeting of churches of Christ in post war Liberia, since the re-introduction of WBS in Sierra Leone three years ago, over fourty baptism has been recorded!
