A church can be involved with your teaching with a WBS Program that provides certain supports for its own WBS Teachers. Most of the time, these churches help organize a team, small or large, of people interested in evangelizing with WBS . The church often budgets and pays for all or a portion of the costs of the WBS ministry, including WBS materials, outbound postage, and office supplies. This allows more teachers to teach and more students to hear the Good News. Although it is not necessary, a church may have some sense of strategy and focus for their WBS Program, such as teaching in geographical areas of their own interest or mission work..
As beneficial as budgetary help is, churches should support a WBS program with the proper environment. This may include:
- a general atmosphere of and emphasis on evangelism and missions outreach
- a weekly time and place for WBS teachers to work on their lessons and correspondence, as well as study and pray together
- a simple process for managing incoming and outgoing WBS mail
- a designated WBS Program Coordinator to help the program proceed smoothly and successfully.
